Re: 47 Dodge Rat Build
Not sure of the direction the pedal car will take...
Did the tattoo for the fuel tank, and the guy decided to throw in the another tank so now I have two… Picked up an Edelcrock carb, and a set of Headers recently, will post pics later today, and will get some more time on this one soon... Thanks for looking in Guyz!!!

Here's a shot of the Fuel tanks (Only one will be used), the carb awaiting rebuild, and the Headers…

Re: 47 Dodge Rat Build
Small update…
Today in the mail was a package from Rian in the UK... Among the goodies was a Bacardi Bat bottle topper and a small Sugar Skull... With the assistance of JB Weld, I added the skull to the pouring spout of the bottle topper and then cam up with this Shifter extension idea… IMG_1513 by ta2don, on Flickr IMG_1517 by ta2don, on Flickr IMG_1519 by ta2don, on Flickr

Re: 47 Dodge Rat Build
Right.........
You know I only comment on your threads to create further havoc for you Don. Glad that you are spending time on here too. Thought I would leave more crappy ideas for you to pursue ( I have the local scrap yard guy looking for a decent donor for me) Wheelbarrow tub, "soap box cart"

Re: 47 Dodge Rat Build
I enjoy the havoc created...
There's a derelict wheelbarrow here on the farm that paired with a junk riding lawnmower to donate axles and such…

Re: 47 Dodge Rat Build
Paging Ta2Don !!!!
A couple of weeks ago I bought some steel from the local scrap steel yard for making the trucks bumper irons. While there, I chatted to one of the guys and told him about the stuff I get up to, playing with rubbish. I also mentioned I wanted to make a wheelbarrow tub soap box cart. He reckoned that was cool, asked for my number and said that if a decent tub came in he would give me a shout. This afternoon I was just at Charing Cross station on my way home when the phone rang..... BINGO !! So when I got back to my station I picked up my car and drove via the local industrial estate to find this. I offered to pay, as I always do in these situations, but he said it was probably worth 45p so not to worry. While down there, I popped into the local council estates maintenance yard where I always have a chat with Pete, and then get to rummage his scrap pile. TREASURES !! Start to get the picture ?? After robbing off the bits I needed for this challenge, I ended up with this lot. When Nicola came home, she popped down to the garage to see that I had not hacked off any limbs or welded myself to something. I also showed her the Rallye wheels I got yesterday, and her response was "They are even better in real life, I hope you are going to keep them Red" After this AI felt quite brave and asked her to take a photo of the projected challenge to Ta2Don over in Arkansas. BEHOLD !! What is it to be??
