Parts interchangability on a 76 Chevy K10

Just wanted to see if anyone out there knew what parts from other years would also work on a 76 Chevy K10. I'm specifically interested in doors/windows and the steering column. I've got access to a 91 Chevy Suburban with both vent windows in good conditions and a good steering column. Hoping i could put theses on my trucks. Thanks for any help.

The door components don't interchange straight across but you can swap entire doors to your truck. 77+ square bodies have different doors but mostly because of the new door panel style. If you put those '91 doors on your truck, you are left with holes to fill if you use your '76 style door panels. Or just use the '91 door panels. The vent window components are 73-80 and 81-91.

The steering column will bolt up AFAIK but it will have different wiring because the turn signal stalk has cruise control and wipers on it. Although you wouldn't have to hook it up necessarily.

Thanks for the info. I dont have power windows though and the Suburban does. Would it be relatively easy to hook up the wiring so the power windows work?

I'm using 89 door panels with (thinner glass, and lockable vents)dash pad too from an 89 burb into a 78 Jimmy doors.
the column will need the lower shaft from the newer one.
but watch the rag joint connection some are keyed different.

There is a few threads on the swap...
not sure on manual 76 cranks,
but my (78) window cranks came out the single switch hole...
but I know PW/PL burbs got a big hole to fill...
and watch the roller size changes, otherwise you can use cranks till it's fixed
