suburban
I am and always was a suburban guy.Ive had many, have a K10 72 now but always wanted a 41-46. My question is ; are there many around or haven't I just looked hard enough? Icant afford a $35000 done up one so looking for a project/daily driver sort of thing. Any thoughts??

56 HOTRODDER, As you know the pre 47 Burbs are pretty rare. I spent most of the fall to mis spring searching Craigslist and Ebay looking for Suburbans and I remember coming across a 39 somewhere in North or South Carolina. It was a painted project needing finishing and asking price of 13k if I remember correctly.
The 41 to 46 would be WW2 production and there may not have been any produced...just not sure. If you have a smart phone download the Craigs Pro application. You can set it to search for one in your designated cities then notify you when a match is made. Do the same on Ebay, search Hemmings and the other auto selling sites too. They are hard to find and generally not inexpensive for one in usable shape. Good luck! |
