Behind the Dog Leg

In the process of cutting out the bad rust and putting in the good metal. While replacing the Dog Leg (thanks Top Banana) area between the rear door and the rear tire, I've been unable to find the piece of metal that fits in behind it kinda like the lower part of the frontside of the wheel well/backside of the Dog Leg piece. It would be the piece that connects the wheel well to the rear rocker and the front Dog Leg outer metal.

I've seen these rust out on almost every Suburban. Are they being made and I just can't find them?

Any help would be great.
