12 bolts are slightly better then the 8.5 10 bolt. If built up the difference is less.
The 12 bolts ring and pinion is 3/8 of a inch bigger, and that is the biggest difference between the two. I never have had a 12 bolt because I would not pay the money for one. Yes I have killed a few 8.5 twn bolts, but the 12 would of lasted longer by about 30 foot making 11's. |
