I went and looked at the truck yesterday. It seemed like it was in pretty good shape for the most part. It ran good and the twin post hoist worked well except for a leaking cylinder which would be no big deal.

Maybe it was just me but I started to get the feeling about the truck that I should just walk away. Paint seemed to be a cheap repaint although it looked decent. It was starting to get cracks in the paint and rust was seeping out in places. I think I would rather have seen it before paint so I would know what I was looking at. None of the AC stuff was on the firewall and all of the grommets in the firewall were missing exposing the inside of the cab. Wiring was decent for the most part except for a couple of connections made with butt connectors.

I just started to get that feeling for some reason to leave it be. Not sure why but I usually follow that. It seemed pretty solid though but for the money I didn't think it was where it should be. Was going to need new tires which was taken into consideration. I wasn't looking for a show truck but didn't feel like this was the one.
