Interesting it has front posi without rear posi. I'd love to have it!

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
I think that option is for the front manual locking hubs, not a front locker.

Right side bottom option is front axle positraction

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
If that is a original saddle colored steering wheel, it would be the nicest I have seen in a great while. I agree positraction can only mean one thing.

One of my favorite color combos and a Cheyenne 4 speed to boot! I would love to own it! It even has the correct time period GM accessories steps on it.

By far my favorite color combo. Wish it wasn't so far away. Anyone have a final selling price guess? I'll say 10k

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
Gorgeous truck. I will guess the sales price hits $15,000 if that mileage is true and it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures.

Seeing this truck makes me think maybe Ochre is not so ugly after all. I would like to keep it as close to stock as possible.

I wonder why no woodgrain dash bezel? The old snowmobiles in the auction are pretty sweet too!

Cheyennes didn't come with them, Cheyenne Supers did.

I'm still waiting on one near me to pop up..... It also has tow hooks added. They look to be extreme bend but they bend opposite directions

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
I love the 'period correct' things on it...rubber lip flares, round fog lamps, push bumperettes, the only thing it's missing is a CB and whip antenna.
And those tires...

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
I never saw this thread before. Sure is a nice one. It would have made a perfect mate to my old Custom Camper. I figure it wasn't ordered with rer posi because the purchaser want to install a better posi/locker. That's exactly what I did when I ordered my '92 with everything and anything I wanted or didn't want. Looks like Jackman 16.5s on there, too

Re: Very nice '72 K10 being auctioned in PA
I was at the auction hoping to buy. Sold for 22,500.00
Amazing high price. Advertised as a survivor. It had a repaint somewhat recently and a ton of undercoating under it as well. |
