dually conversion on 67 c-20 & 4x4 conversion on 71 burb
I have a 67 c-20 original and was wanting info & maybe parts to convert 3/4 ton single axle to dually. I also want to convert a 1/2 ton 2wd to 3/4 ton 4wd maybe using the rear end from the c-20 for starters.

Don, welcome to the board from Tennessee. Your idea to convert over to 4X4 is possible, but with a lot of work. Keep your eyes open here, you may be able to find a good 4X4 frame to put your body on.
As for the dually idea, someone here should be able to help you on that. Lets see pics of your rides. |

burb frame
I may have a 4x4 burb frame available in the next few months, it has 1/2 ton axles on it now, frame was from NV so it is excellent, I am in Ohio. Mark

3/4T Dual Rear
This is a Dana 60...a very common 3/4T rear in our trucks. It is set up for standard dual wheels. I can't tell you much about it, but maybe the pic will help.
It has all new brakes & seals, 3:54 ratio and it is for sale for $400. |
