It looks like you cut out the fins and put the sheet metal on top of it and tacked it.. Im gonna have to weld the wiper cut outs onto the sheet metal. im just hoping i can get the shape in it right..it looks like the sheet metal should be curved? or is that just me lol

Here are a few more pics.
There is a slight dip on the very ends but the rest is flat on mine. When I got to the ends I massaged the ends to fit the dip. It didn't take much with a body hammer.
When the louvers are cut out the top is rolled down. I cut my filler piece to fit down very slightly into that rolled down portion.

Cameron - I have an extra vent cover if you want it for the cost of shipping, nobody seems interested in buying these things.

Kim did you weld yours in complete or is it removable still?
