Just to clear it up, no deal was made per pm only explained the pricing issue and that I will be in his town for pick up once price was sorted out. I will say I did not consider the first offer legit since bidding is not permitted. Then the second offer was pending.

Well, It was a commitment. People have to know what shipping will cost before committing, the total cost. That way you don't jerk the seller around like some members do and say you'll take it, then back out. It's the courteous thing to do for everyone involved.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to make this a bad experience for the op. Pending are a grey area and usually left to the seller to decide. With that said I'm fine standing in line, I am only a hobbiest and hunting parts is fun to me. So no love loss here, carry on!!!
