Radiator?
Bought a "direct replacement" radiator from classic industries along with new core support and mounts. For some reason the radiator is about 3/4" too tall and I would have to use spacers in order to use factory style mounts. Any suggestions other than changing radiators again?

Re: Radiator?
You may have to trim the rubber pads. I have read on here that the repops are larger. I had to do that on my aluminum radiator. Once you get the bolts started it should squeeze into place. Also place some lube on the rubber.

I'm not sure that will be enough but I'll try. The bottom mounts weren't sitting down far enough either so I trimmed the core support but that didn't give me much. Thought about fabbing a top mount that covered whole top of radiator. Would I still need to put some kind of rubber between that and radiator? Thanks

Re: Radiator?
Yes, it should rest in rubber.

Re: Radiator?
I would talk to CI before modifying anything, If its sold as "direct replacement" it should do that. I'm sure it cost you a lot of money, so why should it cost you more?
