C 60 brake questions?

My neighbor Has what I believe is a 68 C60 Dump truck. It has only a single one line master cylinder. He has been asking me how to upgrade to a duel system for safety. Has anyone any info on brakes on these bigger trucks that can give me some insight on what it needs? I'm really surprised that it doesn't have a double system already or should it? Maybe somebody else changed it over to older parts? Let me know what other info you might need and Ill go over and look it over.

Re: C 60 brake questions?

Can't speak of this truck year, my 65 C60 had a vacuum booster under the driver side floor. Some upgrade may include later model hydro boost.....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=523502

Re: C 60 brake questions?

My 66 C60 had that too but still only a single system master. I just realized that there is a separate forum for the bigger trucks like this. Maybe the moderator can move this over there for me, Thanks.
