What goes here
My truck is very original and I am wondering if anyone know what hoses went on and where they went to from the white plastic piece in the pic.

Re: What goes here
Its the small block vacuum advance solenoid, part of the transmission controlled spark system emission control. Look it up in the FSM section 6T-7 for full details of operation.

Re: What goes here
Yep...as Tim said.
Basically it is a type of (period typical) pollution control device rooted in subduing performance to some degree. I think the way it works is that it intercepts your vacuum advance signal and only allows it to get to the distributor when you are in high gear or thereabouts...thus inhibiting distributor advance at lower rpms, etc. I'm pretty sure most guys disconnect it for performance reasons. I too still have mine mounted but inoperative. All Good Coley

Re: What goes here
Sounds like something I don't have to concern myself with for the moment. I guess when I install my Pertronix Distributor in the truck that piece will become obsolete anyway.
