Try doing some forum searches, If somebody on this site did buy it recently maybe you can pull up a thread. I tried a few but didn't come up with anything. Search for pictures of 67's ,or bought a new truck or 67 fleets. You get the idea. Maybe you will get lucky. Good luck.

I did a VIN check on a '68 bug that had a short VIN#...it just wasn't through carfax. I'll search through my emails for the company's website and let you know. From what I remember, it was pretty cheap too.

The company I went through was "instavin.com". It was 7 bucks and told me where it was last registered. I hope they can help, and good luck.

You could always post a "looking for my old truck" ad on your local craigslist. Put the ad in the car/truck for sale section. Good luck.
