Turn signal switch connector
Weird turn signal switch in my 62' GMC.
My turn signals stopped working awhile back and I finally had some time to find out why, quickly I came to the conclusion that the turn signal switch was wasted. I started looking around for a new switch and found that the switch I have in my truck was not the typical switch that comes in these trucks. The switch is in the steering wheel not mounted to the column. In lieu of the bad switch and the fact that the columns bearings are trash I decided to order a new column from Ididit. I now have the Ididit and it is a beautiful thing only problem is the adapter is for a 62' but it does not work with the connector on my harness as it should. My harness has a six wire flat connector and the Ididit adapter is a six wire pyramid style. The wire colors match but I do not want to hard wire or use spade connectors. Okay so after all that I guess my only real question is if someone knows where to get a matching female version of the six wire pyramid style connector. |

Re: Turn signal switch connector
Can't help you with the same connector however, since it looks like spade connectors you could look for a male and female spade connector and transfer the wires. I did a search on ebay and found a bunch of those:

Re: Turn signal switch connector
Ordered the connector and a few other things from American Classic Truck Parts, Looks like a good resource to remember.
Thanks again I'm sure I'll have more questions soon enough.
