Need Opinions (Advice)
I have a '79 350 that blew a gasket and sucked all my antifreeze into the oil pan. Now I have a friggin' chocolate milkshake to deal with. My questions is: Should I run something like auto transmission fluid through the motor to help clean it out, or just change the oil and run it for a little bit, then change it again?

I would remove the oil pan and clean it out. Then put in fresh oil and filter. Start it up and run it til it gets warm. Drain it again and new oil and filter. Run it for 500 miles or so, and change the oil and filter again.
I suggest doing this pretty quick before rust starts to form on the cylinder walls, which only takes a day of so.

Id just drain the pan for a couple hours, run a few quarts of good oil threw it for a minute or two, then drain, refill and dont worry about it.
