Pics of how low trucks go with ONLY bags

Just curious to how low a 69 short bed will go with just firestone bags all 4 corners, nothing else. I want to get an idea if it's going to be low enough for my liking, or if I should have some more work done to it.

Any pictures are much appreciated.

All air out - 2.5" drop spindles in front and 2" blocks on rear, 20" wheels, no frame cuts/

Re: Pics of how low trucks go with ONLY bags

Thanks fellas. So with mine not having a c notch or drop spindles or block, should I expect mine to sit slightly higher, or does that just have to do with ride height?

Re: Pics of how low trucks go with ONLY bags

When I went to bag my truck, I ran into the same issue. There were only pictures of serious, drop member or z'd frame trucks. So when I bagged my C10, I did it in stages. First I did just the bags, then I added drop spindles and then a notch. I took pictures of my truck in the same location, at the same angles each time so that it would be easy to compare. When I was done, I made the chart below. Here's the link I started when I was done:

Saw your truck at the Brothers show. very nice!. can you tell me more about the rear bags? did they simply replace the springs or did you have to make a mount for them? if you just had to put them in place of the springs, what are the spec's on it cause I think I like that set up. hows it ride with it low. I have 5 inch lowering springs in the rear of mine and was thinking of adding some helper air bags for when I try to haul something heavy but maybe I'll just replace the spring with bags...

thanks

jeff in long beach.

Re: Pics of how low trucks go with ONLY bags

You need the 2.5 spindles so your tires sit on the road flat and wear properly.

The outside/inside of your tires will wear a line around them fast.
