Thumbs up Honest people...

Wow, it still amazes me to see this.
I came home from work today, and since the wife is in New Orlenas, I was driving her car to save a buck or two in gas. So that leaves my truck on the curb 24/7 now.
When i pulled into the driveway, there was a note under the wiper blade. I figured it was a "I want to buy your truck" not, but no...
It was a "I hit your truck" note.
It stated that he backed out of the drive across the street and he bumped my tire. He couldn't see any damage, but left me his buisness card anyways just in case there was non-visible damage.

I can't even see a mark on the tire.

Gonna have to call him to say thank you.

I knew a girl who banged into someone else's vehicle in a shopping centre parking lot with her boyfriend's big Ford pickup. She got out and wrote a note to put under the wiper too but her note said ...

" Anyone watching will think I am leaving you my name and number etc but I am not going to do that. Sorry I hit your car."

She was a real nice kid but a lousy driver I guess.

Our only problem is there aren't enough out there. I've had two hits that no one left me a note. If I were you I would buy the guy lunch........maybe the word will get out.........and I don't mean to hit your truck for a free lunch.........great to hear it.

You are soooo lucky, I watched a neighbor turd back into my panel and take off, called his girlfriend and he came back, tore the crap out of a fender, bondo no loss. made him give me 300 bucks or I'd rat him out to his old man. If he would have stopped I probably just let it go and made him mow the yard. It is nice to know there are still decent people around. They are few and far between. Just try buying used parts and you'll find that out.
