Re: power steering pulley alignment problems! with pics!

That would be my call as well is the alternator on the drivers side like stock? My truck with 350 has short water pump and a 2 piece bottom pulley. the water pump and alt run on the inside toward the motor and the ps runs on the outside I think, and there are 3 grooves on the bottom pulley. I can try and post a picture if that would help?

Right pulley-right pump- wrong bracket. Should be this one.
You have what looks to be the long water pump bracket.

Every pulley lines up Except the fancy crank pulley. I'd say that's the culprit.

Crank pulley is right. Ran the same one for ten years. I did not see the water pump pulley but it should have two grooves.

Correct alignment with correct small block pulleys with PS,AC. Cranck has 3 grooves they are bolted on.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

my water pump pulley has three. but I will only use two for a/c and alt.

I have new alt and a/c brackets from allen grove and they align both correctly.

the issue is the power steering set up. Thanks!!!

And I found this. It looks like I would need the one the one on the left, and have the one on the right.

These power steering pumps where installed on millions of GM products during these years. You may have a Buick pump who knows they look alike and without knowing which valve is in it you could have a Pontiac pump. The brackets are just like the pumps who knows what they fit.
It's not a big block truck pump either because it doesn't have the reservoir on the drivers side fender. Just for info.

Re: power steering pulley alignment problems! with pics!

It is the pump in the pics. Not sure how much to ship and don't have a day off any time soon. I would imagine about $20 or so for shipping. Might fit in a flat rate medium box if I take it apart. Those are about $13.
