Options galore

If I could ever get my hands on a digital camera, I would show you all how bountiful the options list on my glove box sticker is-- ALL 4 OPTIONS!
Anyone have less than that?

I've got one with 2 options but someone else has a truck with 1(yes one) option.
Mine is a 1970 swb fleet.

Actually, that is a no option truck. (If you right click on the pic, and select save, the name of that file is 2 option truck)
Racedevl only has one option on his.

I seem to recall seeing on on this board that was one option... and that option was "no paint"! The theory was it was a truck purchased for some company fleet, I think.

LOL nice. I thought mine wasn't optioned... have to go write them down sometime. I know that power steering and a/c isn't on it though. Oh well no a/c and no power steering means less things to take power away from the motor.

Yeah, i was wondering about that earlier. I know I have black int listed on my glove box on the GMC, but it lists a cloth seat...does anyone have a factory black vinyl int, and is it listed in the glove box?

I have seen a few like that before. Actually, that truck was kind of weird, the jamb plate vin # matched and I didn't check the frame, there might have been a COPO tag. I could not get a history of it, but I think it was a fleet purchase vehicle. It also had a stock AM radio that wasn't listed on there. I think thats why its like that...but I am not sure.

Actually, if it was a copo truck it would say something about that on the option sheet. ONe of the new members had this a couple months ago. It would say something like COPO-CF-71-108.
Here is the thread on that. http://64.246.42.114/vboard/showthre...highlight=COPO

But a dealer wouldn't be able to type on the sheet either since it would be attached to the glove box door already.

I mean that items like the radio that are in the truck that are not on the option sheet must be dealer installs.

I have a glove box door option sheet with 6 items on it...

Are you guys saying that Exterior Paint and Interior colour aren't really options then? Cause I guess every truck is gonig to have that plus the Model # code...

It's a Canadian truck so it also has...

Man. Canadian Base Equipe. so would you treat that as like the paint and interior trim codes?

If so the only options it has would be...

below eyeline mirror and heavy rear spring...

...am I way off here?

IF the canadian stuff was Man. Canadian Base Equipent, then you could look at it as standard features, or as required options. I lean twards standard options myself.
Heavy springs are exacly that...H.D. springs. In a 1/2 ton, they are simply 3/4 ton springs, on a 3/4 ton, they are stronger than the base equipment.
