help me choose tire for 15x10 wheels

I have a set of prostars to put on the back end of my truck. Only issue Im having is figuring out what size to order.

I was looking at some 255/70/15a. Which are roughly 29" tall. However it says a max rim size of I thing 8.5"

I have 275/60/15 on the back now. But I don't know if it will be the look I'm going for

I'd like to have a wide tread width. Tall sidewall and roughly 29-30" tall tire!! Please help! I'm plan on doing my shopping online.
I found some hoosier quick time drag radicals which look nice but I don't want to spend so much on tires

Look at 295/65r15 or 315/60r15 drag radials. Not many tires like you want that aren't drag radials

275/60's are the closest you're going to get to 29-30" in a readily available radial (not a drag radial). Hoosier also makes a Pro Street radial.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Thanks for the sizes. I'll look them up. Too bad bfg still don't make 295 and 315 sizes. I've looked at the hoosier pro street radials. May get them but looking into other options

Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R should have what you're looking for size wise

Hey everyone, my 2 cents:

BFGs all the way, They are more expensive at first but will out last anything else on the road. They are the quietest, longest lasting quality tire you can buy.

Two pic's:

Kind of a different scenario when comparing 4x4 sizes to 2wd sizes.

The hoosier tire is a good looking tire too in the same size .I,m looking for the same thing,I have 285/70x15 BFG on mine but it has too much sidewall for me,I think is almost a 31 in. tall tire.Would be nice to see a pic of them installed
