Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
That's pretty close to a set of aluminum slots I had. They were 70's vintage and were 15x8.5 with 3.5 backspacing. Hard to know for sure from that pic though.

Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
They look a lot like the size on my 59 so I'm guessing 15X8 or 8.5 also. Mine are 15X8 however in this shot the truck had already been lowered about 3 inches.

That is probably a 31x10.50x15 tire on a 15x8 wheel. Very common in that style.

Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
I think the first pic has 10' wide rear chrome wheels with street tires. The second pic is a different wheel and tire in the rear IMO.

Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
In my opinion they are definitely not 10" wide. They look like 8". Good luck, cool thing you're doing.

Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
The second picture absolutely has different wheels and tires than the first. They were about 10 years apart. I'll plan for 10" and do a ton of measuring for I purchase. Just trying to plan and budget every step of the process. Thanks for the help everyone I'm sure I'll have plenty of other questions coming.

Re: Any guesses on this wheel size?
10's in the first photo and 8's in the second photo
You can see how the ten inch rims are deeper and put the tread outside the fenders a tad in a very much a mid 70's style.
