Not to high jack but are the Big Block stands shorter then the small block stands? As in does your engine sit lower in the compartment when using the BB ones? I used my Small Block stands for my 454 but my distributor to firewall clearance was very close. If it does sit lower, I need to keep an eye out for the BB ones.

It's hard to say if the BB sits lower, they do bolt into different holes on the cross member. Here's a pic side by side.
