Which Pertronix ignitor for V-8? 1181 or 1181LS

Going for low maintenance and reliability on the '65 283 beater/driver project, and I'll be losing the breaker points for solid state ignition. My question is for those that have done this many times: PerTronix 1181 or 1181LS ? The LS is the lobe sensing unit which does not use the magnet ring. Is either any more or less reliable or significantly simpler to install? I know BOTH are easy enough, but with the LS one, I guess you don't even have to pull the dizzy.
Doing this SOON, so if you've got an opinion, lets hear it.
Thanks ahead of time.

I went with the 1181LS or lobe sensor version. The install seemed almost too simple to work so well, but I still had to pull the distributor out to facilitate feeding the wires through easily. I have no clue how the module can accurately sense the worn distributor cam spinning by, but it does, and it does it well.
Running a bit smoother now.

I converted to the pertronix on my 292 awhile back. Worked well and major improvement over stock for sure. I later converted to full HEI. Still have the pertronix handy in case though.
