Tire suggestion
Looking for suggestions for a set of tires to put on my '68 c20. It's a street truck so I'm looking for something with a shorter section width, and kind of wide. I really like the old white-letter radial gt type tires on these trucks, I just don't know where the best place to find them is, or what size I want. Any advice is appreciated. Also I am running 16" steelies, if that helps.

Re: Tire suggestion
Cooper Cobra Radial GT is a classic good looking tire with raised white letter.

Re: Tire suggestion
Wheel size is more than a little important. I ran 265 75 16's on my C2500 Sierra Grande on 16x7 Alcoas and that was the right choice for that truck.
The tire you are asking for is not usually found in a 16" size where you have either light truck or passenger car for the most part. Going to 17" rims on my '69 short bed was the answer for me and running SUV tires. Hankooks in 275 55 17 on the rear and 235 55 17 on the front. 17x9 and 17x8 rims respectively.
