1. My truck has a small block 350 in it with a th350 trans. is the crossmember the same for a 350 big block as for a 350 small block (the trans crossmember)?

this is were I just don't know enough and really wish dad was still alive so I could ask him.

2. I read this and see that I need to make sure it a "longhorn" or "C30" (aka 1 ton) crossmember. is this all I need to know when I start asking for one. or does motor size and trans size matter?

3. I would assume that a crossmember from a longhorn and a 3/4 ton are NOT the same? going by what is being said. why would they have used a different crossmember in a long horn 3/4 ton frame and a reg 3/4 ton frame different?

Sorry if these questions sound elementary to you guys, I was 12 years old when dad was trying to teach me this stuff. thanks for your time and interest guys.
