74 C10 Speedometer/ Fuel Gauge

Recently purchased this truck. Speedometer intermittently stops working while driving. Fuel gauge points to the 3:00 position when ignition on. When ignition off, slowly falls somewhere between E and F after several minutes. Can anyone guide me on this?

TIA
