Anyone have a brilliant idea for how I can remove this stuff easily? Used it as a sound deadener, which actually worked pretty well, however I'm getting ready to spray lizard skin, but this stuff is a pain to get off! Any of you clever people know some tricks in this area? My thumbs are killing me so anything helps ha.

A Heat Gun would be the best bet and Harbor Freight has the cheapest one.

I assume I'd have to heat the underside of the truck with the gun and hopefully it'll come off easier. Thanks!

I used a big hairdryer (don't tell the wife!) to remove the sound proofing from my truck, I heated it from above, doing a small area at a time and peeling it back as I went, it was slow but came up ok

Gas and a match. Stand way back when you fire the match at it.

Seriously though, you might be able to strip it off with one of the 36grit wheels that go on the die grinder.

I would agree with a heat gun. Work in small areas at a time. Heat from the top then scrape with a putty knife.

I considered a grinder of sorts. I think I'll try out the heat gun/putty knife and if that's not working, it might be time for the grinder.

Thanks for all the input guys! I'll post how it goes and I'll be updating my build thread as I finish out the cab

A wire brush cup on a 4 inch grinder will eat right through it. BUT, it slings the crap everywhere and it is hard to clean up off your floor after you step on it. Don't ask me how I know that.
