After asking on here about another Blazer for sale I got a note from almost a neighbor (maybe 5 miles away) letting me know that he had a project that he would sell. Well, you can probably guess that I bought it.
No idea how many 69 CSTs were built but it can't be too many.
350, at, ps,pdb(added) and AC. Originally olive but now it's white with some blue interior. Needs 1 full rocker box and one patch plus a few other small spots.

35/12.50 tires on it- probably a 6" lift? It has Rancho shocks but I'm not certain how to tell what the lift is otherwise. Any suggestions?

I would say that's a 6" lift. I have the same so if you need some measurements to reference let me know.

Looks like a good score. Not many Blazers were made in '69. According to the specs on CK5.com there were just under 5000 total. Even if half were CSTs, that is pretty rare.

For the lift, I'd guess a 6" as well. Does it have blocks in the rear or spring lift?

Not sure if the springs are aftermarket but they have pretty tall blocks under them.

Separately- Any good reason to change a glovebox door? The trucks pretty decent, I can't imagine how the glovebox door could get hurt so bad it needs changing.

Good find, Measure your lift block and that will give you the lift size.

68panelman- the area of the block between the tube and the bottom of the spring right. I don't know if there should be a small block or saddle there originally?

The only reason I could think for changing the door is maybe a previous owner at one time wanted to keep the SPID decal, or wanted to pass off a plain jane truck for a CST. Not saying that's the case here, but just a possibility.

Maybe it was used to bastardize another blazer into a faux "cst" - I hadn't thought of that one. Makes a bit more sense

I feel your pain on the glove box door. One of my PO's put on a door with a spid from a 72 on my 69.

Yeah- I pulled it off and even under a bright light I can't make out anything on it. Guess I'll get to "order" mine however I like it----

Also, what is this trim? They are about 5 feet long and there's 2 of them. Stainless steel I believe.

Those are the trim pieces for the side panels in the rear. CST only. Expensive. They are chrome and most of the ones you find are all rusty. I found those on ebay. They are in pretty good condition.

Had a guy come give me an estimate to paint her today.... Just spitballing he threw out a round about price of 15-18,000. I think I'll look for a second opinion.
I have a feeling he and I are looking for different results- Id like to be able to drive it without having someone actually Ride Shotgun (to shoot someone that would scratch it)
