Nashville build - 71 c10 shortbed - daily driver goal

So I've had this truck sitting in the garage for about four years, FINALLY getting around to working on it. Planning on it being my daily driver. Thik it has a 350, previous owner did a few things to it: HEI, side exit exhaust, c notch, shocks, pan hard bar in rear, drop springs. Came with bags and plates for front. Once I get new wheels I might put the bags on but just inflate them as static. My plans are to replace some sheetmetal and paint, wheels and tires, stereo, fix up inside and DRIVE!!!

So I had some delays due to baby stuff. I replaced the stock intake manifold on my 350 with an Edelbrock Performer. Also swapped the HEI distributor for a White Performance $50 unit off ebay. Hoping it works out ok-the reviews seem to be ok on them. Changed belts, some coolant hoses, vacuum tubing/hoses. Plan on re-adjusting the timing and dialing in the vacuum advance next. Bought some lower door panel sheetmetal and some mig gas so that will be next as well.

Re: Nashville build - 71 c10 shortbed - daily driver goal

So having a toddler around the house makes it difficult to work on the truck but I've decided to finally get the truck running because I have a big house project coming up and could really use it. So I'll be getting new tires soon and REALLY want to get the lower rocker on one side replaced and also lower door outer skin-know about how much that should cost me (I already have the metal) to pay someone to do it around here?(I sold my mig) After that I would like to get it sprayed with a primer/sealer then a similar blue color as existing cab-cheapest possible. Anyone know any backyard sprayers around Middle TN?? Not looking for perfect.
