1970 cloth seats
Can anyone provide me with a pic of the material used in cloth seats for '70? I know houndstooth was used in 71-72. Haven't been able to come up with anything.
Was thinking that, seeing as I have no A/C and I'm in Phoenix, all vinyl seats might not be the best idea. Thanks |

Re: 1970 cloth seats
You know the idea is to search first before starting a thread. :-)
Anyway here are a couple of pictures that give you the original seat cover in blue custom cloth.

Yeah, I should know better. Been on enough forums. haha.
Thanks for the pic. Wow, I had no idea the original mat was blue. Great photo. Exactly how my interior should look. |

The next step up a Custom/10 had a number of detail differences including a color coded floor mat and a cloth inserted seat cover.

Re: 1970 cloth seats
Ah, interesting. Seeing as I'm keeping the rest of the interior stock (aside from the cover), I can go with black then. Which is good seeing as that's all they seem to make now.

Re: 1970 cloth seats
Hey Tim, can you help me with kick panels? What color should they be?

Re: 1970 cloth seats
In your case, white just like the exterior and most interior metal of your truck.
