Another thing to think about. Take a small pick and peek some holes in the trim to let the air escape when the door is shut.
You will never know they are there and they shouldn't bother the rubber at all if done right. ![]()

Thanks again Andy. I actually did that a few weeks ago thinking maybe it was trapped air not allowing the seal to collapse.
