Which clutch should I buy?

I'm going to put a new motor in my truck this weekend and was wondering which clutch to buy. The shop says they have two differant ones for my 72 K10. The first is a 12in. that has the three fingers like my original clutch for 160.00. He said they also have a newer style with a lot more fingers that is supposed to make using the clutch easier and last longer for 130.00. What do you guys think is the better clutch?

i have the one with a lot of fingers and i am going to go back to the one with 3 fingers i dont like the let off point of the other one it is to high and it does not have that strong feeling to it

The clutches with the three fingers is called a Borg and Beck clutch. The ones with the many fingers is called a diaghram clutch. The B and B clutches will give you more pressure, unless you go with a Centerforce performance clutch which has counterweights to give more pressure with centrifical force. The more RPM's, the more pressure. I am thinking about going with a new setup from Napa that has a clutch disk with ceramic buttons on it for better grip and less wear. I was told that all of the wrecker drivers use those so they don't go through a clutch every month. It is a Borg and Beck clutch, also.

thanks mightyfine, I went with the diaphram clutch. I hope it works ok for me. The guys at the clutch shop said I would be much happier.
