Looking for recommendations for custom wheel manufacturers

I currently have wheel adapters that go from my 5 lug axle to 6 lug wheels. I know everyone hates wheel adapters but I didnt have the money to buy new wheels at the time. Since then I have had some issues with my 396, so I ordered a zz502 crate motor. Now im really concerned with the wheel adapters failing due to the increase in torque. can anyone recommend a company that builds custom wheels for a reasonable price. Below is a picture of the truck with the wheel adapters that are 2" thick. most wheels i have found do not have right offset and my goal is as wide of a tire as possible. Your recommendations are appreciated!

I just asked this question today. Bummed that you asked 3 months ago and not one person has bothered to reply.. It must be super easy and we are just missing something.

Re: Looking for recommendations for custom wheel manufacturers

Well, I'd start by knowing how wide my axle was (67-70 narrow housing that's been converted to 5 lug or 71-72 5-lug, wide housing), measuring how much room I had in my wheelwell, figuring out the backspace I needed and then searching/calling around to different wheel manufacturers that offer custom wheels. There are a TON of threads on this site with that info if you'll just use the search tab. I just ordered a set of wheels from Schott Performance and I measured everything myself just to confirm some of the info floating around on this site - if you like what they have, call them up and as for Dave Wagner, he was a big help. Most wheel manufacturers will also have a lot of info on different makes/models and they'll be able to help you out some also. Before I dropped my money on some custom wheels, I wanted to make completely sure they were going to fit like I wanted them to.
