1976 C10 brake lights! help!!!
Hello all I have a 76 Chevy C10 and the brake lights DONT work. They don't come on at all when I push the brake pedal. Tail lights, turn signals, and hazards work fine but no brake lights. I have replaced the bulbs replaced the brake light switch and the fuses seem fine but nothing! Any ideas?!?! Thanks in advance!!

Have you checked the wiring going to the brake light? It's ran along the frame rail under the truck, and over time if the insulation is punctured, the wiring can corrode and prevent a good connection.

Do you own a VO meter? Test for power at the brake light socket. If not move farther towards the cab. Here is a nice set of schematics, color code is noted.
