TH-350 transmission swap for '72 C-10
Hi I just bought a 72 C-10 with the 4-speed manual and I'm wondering if I can swap this transmission for a TH-350 automatic. Will it fit with this models floor pan, etc? What other components (besides the transmission itself) will I need to purchase, such as new steering column, etc. I need all the help with this I can get! Thanks.

you will need another driveshaft of shorten that one. You will need the colum as well as the linkage and Z bar Ive got that stuff if you need it.
And you will need the auto crossmember As far as the floorpan it will clear fine |

Your tranny choice really depneds on the use of the truck. Personally, I would never own one with a stock 3 or 4 speed. It isn't that I am too lazy to shift, but the stock maunal trannys are too slow to shift and are not good for my 'spirited' driving style.
