87 silverado, service engine soon light
What causes this light. Mine comes on intermittently. Comes on after driving for 30 minutes or so then turns off if I floor it, then return to normal engine speed. Doesn't hurt anything it's just annoying.

My 83 will light up during long idles but will go out as soon as you get going
