pics /heater hoses engine compartment

replacing engine heater hoses on a 69 c-30/do they use a clamp on inner fenderwell?

some corvettes of the era used wire type hose clamps.

I see vendor selling tower clamps ase part of a kit.

I have seen them with a double clamp on the fenderwell. I think most people left them off if they replaced the hoses though. I think they all came with them from the factory.

I picked mine up at the local Carquest. Gives it a clean look i think. Not original piece im sure though.

Are we looking for original here or just a nice way to clamp the lines?

If just a nice way to clamp the lines I am a huge fan of Gates PowerGrip hose clamps.

Thats nice!

wire hose clamps lookig good

tower style clamps on radiator hoses, Some corvette vendors can even match date codes.....if your as OCD or padantic as I am.

You know its pretty bad when your restore a truck to NCRS standards.
