Turn signal troubleshoot

I am hoping somebody has had this problem because I am just about at a lose. Here's what I have going on. Just got my 68 Chevy back together after paint. I have turn signals and brake lights when headlight switch is off. Turn the headlight switch on and lows, highs, tails, and brakes work just fine but when I turn the switch on the dash turn signal indicators come and and don't shut off. The turn signal lights on the front and back don't come on at all. All of my grounds r good. All new bulbs all around. I also put a new headlight switch on and it does the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm dealing with my own electrical issues at the moment so am no help. You have a really nice looking truck though, love that blue paint.

I have the grounds from the headlights to the core support good. Battery to engine block, engine block to frame, frame to core support, frame to cab, and frame to bed. Which other grounds r there to hook up?

Ground each lamp position. My on-hands experience with sensitive systems in modern Japanese and German vehicles taught me that most system electrical faults were traceable to bad or inconsistent grounds. Component failures happen, and are easy to test for- blown bulbs, bad flasher, broken/bare wires- if the grounds aren't there, it's hard to check them out. It's tedious, but, it's worth it overall.

trace your ground from the right rear taillight to the battery then the left rear taillight to the battery then the right front to battery then left front to battery // trace from each and evry light bulb ground to battery is a requirement to light not just a few straps put randomly around the truck
