I like your radiatro for my GMC but I am confused if it will fit my truck. My truck used a bracket that bolted down with bolts. I believe bolted to around the latch area? Can I get this radiator and have it bolt in? Should be good to cool off my truck after engine swap. To be clear I use 2 saddles on the bottom and I believe just the one bolt on mount on the top.

He is talking about a bolt in not the ones that use the bolt on brackets

Re: decent affordable radiator?

So I ended up getting this one because I just liked the shroud LOL

http://www.ebay.com/itm/291522805303

If it can cool a gas V8 then my best guess is that it should be OK with my diesel.

Re: decent affordable radiator?

That looks like a pretty good deal and I agree, the shroud and tank design looks nice. I light coat of BBQ black and it would look right at home under the hood of my '63.

Please report back once you hook it up.

...ned.

Re: decent affordable radiator?

I will. It might be the leakiest and crappiest radiator there is...I have zero knowledge on the item or the ACC brand...but I figure since its aluminum it can be welded and patched. The welded tank radiators look super leaky to me so that actually really effectuated my decision making process.

Indeed! That is the radiator I linked to earlier in the thread.

The radiator mentioned above is for an LSx swap, which we do not make in the Speed Cooling/ ECP line.

Exactly! This is the radiator i linked in post #19: http://www.speedcooling.com/1963-196...r/prod_37.html

It is a fine piece, and has the same lifetime warranty. It's perfect for drivers/daily abuse
