Paint Code
Does anyone have a rattle can paint number or color, Krylon, Duplicolor, Tremclad or any other vendor that is the proper color for an original rim like the 1969 one in attached pic.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=620516 However, even though I'm not using the original 8 lug wheels on my 69, I restored them using Rust-Oleum gloss white High Performance Enamel. Probably a bit too white, but I doubt anyone would notice. Jim |

Thanks for the link FO69, I think the gloss white you used will be great and work for me if I can't find the GM paint.

Tip..if you want to paint your rims with the tires on, use a deck of playing cards around the rim...

Rustoleum has a white called "Dove White" in rattle can that is sort of a light cream white. That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture in the OP.
