Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

So is the bed still in waiting mode due to the fun involved there???

I started on mine, then decided to do the hood, then get back to the bed...

Hood's done so I guess the bed is next...

Yea the bed sides are ready for final blocking and wet sanding. I am saving the bed for last. I am trying to get the hood done and mounted by September 14. That is when I am taking it to get the interior. The interior is getting a console built, carpet, and one seat repaired.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

dwcardfan,
Thanks for taking the time to share. This site is a wealth of info due to the generosity of folks like you. It is even more motivating for me seeing someone in my own backyard with such a great build going on. I hope to begin mine in the spring and no doubt will reference yours often. Thanks and great job.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Thanks Don,
Finally got to check out your build, looking great. I'll catch you at the shop some day and pick your brain in person.
