Reproduction Door Differences

Is there visually a way to tell if a door is original or reproduction? I did a search and couldn't find anything...

I know weight is a key indicator. I have two '72 doors that probably have 20 - 30 lbs difference. Both have the all the guts still in tact. I can't believe there would be that much difference in weight. Does this mean the lighter door is reproduction?

Part of the reason I am asking is that the side of the door opposite the hinges is not lining up with my cab regardless of how I adjust the hinges....maybe further evidence of a reproduction door?

Appreciate any input!

Re: Reproduction Door Differences

All the repo doors I have seen didn't have this triangular double wall sheet metal area in the bottom front inside corner. The repos are just flat !
