1958 Apache 38 Dually Dump Project

Based primarily on discussions here regarding the integrity of cheap aftermarket columns, we decided to replace our cheap aftermarket column with a known name brand.
After reviewing available options, we elected to go with a Flaming River column. The difference in quality is evident in both the fit and finish and "feel".

We picked up the steps from our powder coater this morning...less than a 24 hr turn-around! We really like working with them...Tops Powdercoating in OKC flat out delivers!

My son thought that the mud flaps were boring and had an idea to make them pop. We spent the evening working some 3" x 1/8" aluminum strap into these pieces...we really like how they flow with the rest of the truck.

This really is an amazing build you are doing.

As mentioned elsewhere before, we may end up driving close by you in October, I still need to get my side mouldings an S/S bed strips from Mar-K but they are holding out on the extra 10% discount, which to us travelling means a lot in the greater scheme of things.
