2009 Silverado issue

Hey everyone, I have a 2009 Silverado half ton 4wd work truck. It has 163,000 and it makes a clunking noise. I hear the noise when I go from a complete stop. It only clunks when I get on it hard. I almost think it's a weight transfer issue. We just replaced the front brakes and it was making the noise before and after. Weal so did the front drive shafts around 9 months ago and I can't remember if it was making the noise before. It sounds like it's coming from the front drivers wheel.

Re: 2009 Silverado issue

It could be the joints got messed up when being put in, I hate to admit it but i have done that. Also check the wheel bearing and the torsion bar mount underneath. i have seen those be broken and with the bar there it helped transfer the noise.
