Window tint?
Would a '65 pickup have come with tint from the factory? I went out for a ride today and somewhere along the way my passenger window broke. If this is an aftermarket tint job (it seems to be the glass, and not a film) I'm not going to be able to match it and I'll need two.

Re: Window tint?
There was a tint option called "soft ray" it was a greenish color. Not too dark, but definitely noticable when compared to the clear glass.

Re: Window tint?
I'm pretty sure now that this is not factory. Rather than green, it is the slightest grey color, like maybe 5%.
I took a razor to the broken window, so I know it is the glass and not a film. I'm also noticing a distinct lack of markings on the glass, with the exception of the windshield, which I know is aftermarket. I assume that original glass would have date codes and a brand on it, like LOF, PPG or etc. |

Re: Window tint?
Like Dave said, the LOF factory tinted glass is called Soft Ray and will be marked as such. Solid light green with no dark band at the top of the windshield. A regular production option, and automatically included with all A/C equipped trucks.
