UK WTD - help with getting hold of some small components
I am in need of a male 1/2-20 fitting and a male 9/16-24 fitting so I can make up a hard line to run from a Carter fuel pump to a Holley 1850-3.
Also a breather fuel cap for my '79 so I can delete the line to the now-Removed charcoal canisters. I am in the UK and availability of the components is difficult in the extreme unless I go for earls fittings which is unnecessary and expensive. Companies like Summit want silly money for shipping something which will fit into a very small Jiffy bag. I would be profoundly grateful for the help.

Re: UK WTD - help with getting hold of some small components
Shipping is usually free from Summit & Jegs to me, I'm in north Florida, and I can usually receive parts in two business days (Summit has a location near Atlanta, GA)
So, what if you ordered what you needed, shipped it to my business address, I'll then condense it into a smaller box (they typically over package small items like you need), and send it to you the least expensive way possible. Would that work? Or, post a picture of the exact fittings you need, I can run by the parts store or check my stash to see whats available. I can only imagine how difficult it is to find vintage U.S. parts over there. |
