wires, where do I need to connect to?

Please I need to know with this wire. Its unhooked at this moment. Need to know what it needs to be hooked up to. The wires that are connected to the connector that I am trying to locate are pink with a black stripe. Please I need help, this is aggravating me every time I see it. I do see that the wires go to the steering column and I can't tell where the other is going. Any thoughts people? Does it need to be connected to the fuse box?

I'll look at mine this afternoon, but i'm pretty sure it does not go to fuse block. On a side note, the green wire with red connector in background of first pic is also hanging down on my truck and i cannot figure out where it goes.

C10 , That wire does plug into the fuse panel . It is keyed so it will only go into one or two spots . You will have to keep fitting it until it fits one of the spots . Once you find where it fits the panel may have a label to give you an idea to what it is for .

In regards to the green wire/red connector, is it possible its some sort of diagnostic hookup? I know there isn't a lot of fancy stuff on these old trucks, but I am even less familiar with the mid 80's trucks.

I looked at my 85 K10 last night and i don't see anything like your pictured connector going to my fuse block. According to my wiring schematic pink with black stripe is switched power wire.

Found this image while researching my wiring issue, but it looks like the plug you had in your post.
