2wd lift kit?
I know I know, lifting a 2 wheel drive. Trucks an 05 chevy silverado 1500 2wd ECSB. Main reason for wanting to lift is clearance. Truck sees a few pastures but at stock height I often scrape it just pulling in to driveways. Truck never tows but is daily driver. Could i put a 2 inch coil spacer in the front and 1 inch rear block without sacrificing drivability? If so what is a good brand to go with?

The coil spacer in the front will make the ride a little more harsh.
A spindle lift in the front would ride like factory. |

Here's my 06 with a spindle lift and 2 inch blocks. I kept it like that for a month, then took it all off and put a drop shackle on the rear end. You might check, I think some ECSB trucks have torsion bars, which means you can adjust the height pretty easily by tightening the bolts, or getting different keys.

How hard is it to do spindles in a driveway? Any special tools?

Spindle lift is very easy remove ball joints tie rod and shock thats it you might need a ball joint sperator tie rod removal tool and you can rent these things at autozone
