FL Porterbuilt Level 1 Coilover Chassis - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

1971 C10 chassis built with Porterbuilt level 1 drop members with Ride Tech coilovers front and rear. Motor mounts are for and LS engine. Porterbuilt's new inner frame stiffener adds strength and functionality to the midsection of the frame. The chassis has been powder coated in satin black. Brakes are a CPP Big Brake kit with black powder coated calipers. The rear axle has original axles, new axle bearings and seals, but the differential will need to be rebuilt as only the carrier is installed to facilitate making the chassis the roller. The chassis is accompanied by a matching title, VIN tag, and glove box door. I accept PayPal for a deposit and cash for the balance. SOLD

For all others who are wondering, if I part it I will ask $600 for the fuel tank. But at this point the tank is not for sale. If I decide to part it I will post it for sale, with a list of folks that have inquired about it. Please let this thread be about the chassis and not ask about the opportunity to buy peripheral parts here, send me a PM and I will answer.

This chassis can be swapped over to bags if you like. Just have to order new upper air-spring hats for the front and the bags and such from Porterbuilt. The hats run around $200.

Ok, that deal was a no-go. I just went to the Porterbuilt, CPP, Billet Specialties, Toyo Tires, and Boyd Welding sites to figure what thse parts would cost if I built another one today and here is what I can up with...

Front DM level 1 $3,917
Rear DM Level 1 $2,325
Inner Frame Stiffener $1,199
Sub Total... $7,441

Add Powder Coat $1,000
Sub Total... $8,441

CPP Big Brake Kit $2,015
Sub Total... $10,456

And that doesn't include labor or shipping!

Just sayin...
